China’s Humanoid Combatant
Technology Development
Future Prospects of Embodied
Intelligence in War York, M.
The development of embodied intelligence in humanoid robotics has rapidly accelerated within the Chinese research and development community. Beyond commercial applications, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is exploring how these technologies may be deployed in military operations, but not without concern and curiosity from the international policy and intelligence community alike as it considers how embedded intelligence will interact with the evolving character of warfare. The PLA, as a state authority, is exceedingly well-resourced, suggesting that funding or institutional access will not constrain the pace of research and testing of humanoid combat systems. Key Facts In August 2026, the World Humanoid Robot Games were held in Beijing, where researchers in humanoid robotics showcased robot designs, notably their ability to navigate diverse environments, in a series of athletic sporting events. Once the games concluded, the People's Liberation Army official newspaper evaluated that researchers in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) ought to accelerate the development of emerging technologies for application in humanoid robot combatants. The field of humanoid robotics includes specialties in engineering, mechanics, computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced sensing. Recent studies in biomimetic structures, biological information-processing, and “brain inspired intelligent control” have demonstrated extensive potential for humanoid robots in a variety of applications, including industry, search and rescue, education, assistance, and notably, military operations. Background and Context Humanoid robotics are not necessarily novel, where the race to gain a stronghold in biomimetics–the study of natural models and systems to solve problems in human engineering–has already begun between the US and the PRC. As an increasingly powerful lever in geostrategic competition, the deployment of humanoid technologies in commercial or military capacities is not yet viable–however, the PRC possesses a stronghold in the mass production of these technologies. At present, Chinese manufacturers of humanoid robots comprise more than 97% of global shipments in the industry, where state support has largely determined this upward trajectory. Current Trends and Status From a review of more than 100 sources affiliated with the PRC’s defence establishment, including military procurement records, academic studies, patents, official publications and bulletins, and documents from various defence companies, Reuters evaluated that the PRC is planning for the eventual deployment of humanoid robots in war. Further testing against battlefield requirements is reportedly ongoing, where key policy documents in Beijing have prioritized research on robot perception, manipulation, and training data. Despite fiscal restraints, the world of embodied intelligence continues to attract “substantial financial support”, primarily from the PRC itself. Presently, there is no evidence which suggests that the PRC has deployed humanoid robots in combat, primarily due to concerns around the unpredictability and energy inefficiency of the platforms. Nevertheless, the pace of innovation continues to accelerate as the National University for Defence and Technology (NUDT), the primary research institution affiliated with the PLA, continues research in the areas of advanced robotics and embodied intelligence. This greater integration of military, academia, and industry across the PRC has contributed to further accelerating the development of humanoid robots, demonstrating how uncrewed and autonomous combatants may alter the character of kinetic warfare in the near future. With the well-resourced PLA and research institutions at the leading edge of innovation, Chinese humanoid robotics will very likely remain a key feature of its long-term modernization agenda.

War Pigs are coming for our children. Krainer, A.
The war pigs are coming for our children! An article that is relateable to all parents where, psychological priming of school children is happening all across Europe, to prepare them for war. The entire aricle is a featured article of K26, for parents to read and reflect. The article is published on Mr Alex Krainer's substack- https://alexkrainer.substack.com/p/the-war-pigs-are-coming-for-our-children A brief excerpt from the article- The children’s mission was to “Take photos of exhibits that connect to Private Peaceful,” and, “When you return to school, create a PPTX presentation.” The assignment also came with a warning: “If you do anything inappropriate, you will be punished accordingly,” a truly bizarre thing to toss into a school trip. The following tasks, listed in the leaflet, were part of their assignment: a. Military discipline/execution (“Anything about court martial, desertion, or punishment. .. Would Charlie’s execution be considered fair based on what you’ve learnt?”) b. Letter or personal object (“What does this show about soldiers’ feelings? How can you relate it to Private Peaceful?”) c. Uniform/equipment (“How practical or comfortable does this look? … How did Tommo feel about his uniform / kit?”) d. Gas warfare (“How does this change your understanding of Tommo’s fear and panic during gas attack?”) e. Enlistment (“Tommo was able to enlist even though he was too young. Would you have been successful? Why or why not?”) f. Battle/weapons (“How does this change your view of war? Does this make what the Peaceful brothers went through more heroic or more frightening? Why?) g. The trenches (“Walk through the trench reconstruction and note your impressions…”)

The Pelacarsen Paradox: When Lowering a Risk Factor Fails to Lower Risk. McCullugh, P.
Lp(a) After Lp(a)HORIZON: From Causal Biomarker to Unproven Therapeutic Target The first major Lp(a)-lowering outcomes trial fails its primary endpoint, and the entire class — olpasiran, lepodisiran, zerlasiran, muvalaplin — must now answer a harder question than it expected. Measurement of lipoprotein (a) is standard of care in clinical lipidology. For decades we have been waiting for drugs that can effectively lower rates of this independent risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. In a result that will reshape clinical lipidology for a decade, Novartis announced on September 4 that its flagship antisense oligonucleotide (ASO), pelacarsen, failed to meet its primary endpoint in the pivotal Lp(a)HORIZON trial. Across more than 8,300 patients with elevated Lp(a) and established cardiovascular disease, pelacarsen did lower lipoprotein(a) — potently, and as designed — but that reduction did not translate into fewer heart attacks, strokes, cardiovascular deaths, or urgent revascularizations.

‘The name’s Bond, Donny boy. National Treasury Bond.’ Horsfall, R.
Published by Robin Horsfall, the article is an incredibly well written piece of key analysis pertaining to the US and its complete subsurvience to the Treasury. The source article can be read from - https://robinhorsfall.substack.com/ An excerpt is published here- ‘Treasury bonds are part of U.S. Treasury securities, which include Treasury bills and Treasury notes. These securities are normally issued to raise funds for the government’s day-to-day operations, defense spending, or funding development projects. The Federal Reserve’s open market operations, which involve the sale and repurchase of all Treasuries, including T-bonds, covers budget shortfalls and regulates money supply.’ This week short medium and long term treasury bond yields are the highest for twenty years. The USA must pay even more interest on the 40 trillion dollars it has borrowed

How the UK should
protect its science and
tech research from
foreign state threats. Petersen, T.
The UK’s world-class research in science and technology relies on openness and international collaboration, but these characteristics create vulnerabilities that foreign states – particularly China – can exploit. How can the UK strengthen its ‘research security’ without undermining innovation?

APT "Putin Has 'Every Right' to Strike NATO Weapons Plants.."
Former US judge Andrew Napolitano says Russian President Vladimir Putin has shown an “almost saint-like capacity for patience and forbearance” by refraining from striking weapons and munitions facilities in NATO countries that supply arms used by Ukraine.Speaking to RT, Napolitano argued that Russia would have a right under international law to target military facilities involved in producing weapons used against Russian territory, while stressing that Putin “does not want a war against NATO.”His comments come amid continued Ukrainian drone strikes deep inside Russia and growing Western involvement in supplying weapons to Ukraine.Napolitano also warned that the Ukraine conflict is heading towards an “acceleration” and predicted a “last-ditch effort” by some NATO countries to prevent what he described as the Russian military achieving its objectives.Watch the full video for the latest analysis on Russia, Ukraine and the risk of further escalation between Moscow and NATO. Silicon Bites Ukraine strategic aviation blockade of the Russian Federation by warning the global civil aviation companies from using Russian Airspace.
Silicon Bites Ep395 | 2026-09-05 | Zelensky promises to close Russia's sky, Putin orders the Ukrainian energy grid destroyed — and why "retaliation" is the wrong word to use when speaking of Russian aggression, because Putin’s war aims have never changed. They remain the destruction of Ukraine as a state and as a people, and every target has always been on the table. What changes is the prioritisation, and the pace, that is all, it’s got nothing to do with whether Ukraine fights back or not, and any framing that seeks to suggest the victim has brought retribution on its own head for surviving, for fighting back is both ignorant and disingenuous. The elimination of all Ukraine’s infrastructure has always been a target, to make its cities unliveable, and its economy a basket case. Russia’s cruelty and violence is only restricted by military technical capabilities. Source - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwZbO95OzoE
