Five Ukrainian minehunters have completed seven days of intensive training off the south coast of England, closing with a run in close formation around the Type 45 destroyer HMS Dauntless in the eastern Solent, according to the Royal Navy.
The ships are based in Portsmouth as part of British support to Ukraine, and the training ranged across the Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight coastlines, taking in gunnery, the destruction of dummy mines and formation sailing with a major warship.
UNS Henichesk, Mariupol, Melitopol, Chernihiv and Cherkasy made up the quintet. Under the supervision of British military personnel they first demonstrated their ability to defend themselves with gunnery shoots off Portland, then moved on to locating, identifying and where necessary destroying underwater explosive devices.
That work used Seafox, the remotely operated submersible that has been a mainstay of Royal Navy mine countermeasures for a couple of decades. Chernihiv and Cherkasy both carried out live firings of the system, which ended in controlled explosions neutralising the mine threats they had been set. The seven days formed the final chapter of Exercise Lion Protector, a Joint Expeditionary Force exercise running from August until the weekend and intended to refine how member nations respond militarily to protect Europe’s northern flank. Its fifth and last phase shifted the emphasis onto the ability of JEF navies to protect maritime infrastructure and guarantee the security of sea lanes.

Kyiv Post publishes unsubstantiated news of US threatening the withdrawal of intelligence support to Ukraine.
13th October 2026.
K26 cannot confirm Kiev Post's claims that the US threatened Kiev with withdrawal of intelligence and PURL support in wake of srikes by Ukraine of Russian Crude production and refining facilities. According to Kiev Post, a Ukrainian said that the President's Office Deputy Head Pavlo Palisa, in charge of military affairs, and Mykhailo Drapatyi, commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, had received calls from the American side.
What was said in those calls was not directly confirmed by Kiev Post.
The article identifies that a Ukrainian official said that Washington "... called all the top military officials with threats," and that, "They're (Washington is) telling everyone that they're going to turn off both the intelligence sharing and PURL."
K26 cannot verify this as factual.

Badenoch, K for NW Essex asked Burnham, A. if he could present evidence that Russia had influenced the Brexit Referndum. Over the weekend, on “The Rest is Politics”podcast, the Prime Minister implied that the referendum result was illegitimate because of Russian interference. Where has that come from? We all remember that in 2018, the head of MI5 said that there was no evidence that Russia had influenced the EU referendum result. Even this morning, the Prime Minister’s own Foreign Minister could not say if the evidence existed. Will the PrimeMinister confirm, here and now, whether he believes that the referendum result was legitimate? If he does not, will he publish the evidence that Russia swung the result of the 2016 referendum? From my perspective, this is just another example of him trying to distract the country, rather than solving the immediate challenges we face.
Burnham's Response "To address the right hon. Lady’s point, I implied no such thing in my comments on “The Rest Is Politics” podcast. I think she should go back and look again. It is a matter of record that Russian actors sought to interfere in the 2019 general election ,and we think it is inconceivable that this was the first time."
Further, Sir Julian Lewis (New Forest East) (Con) also reiterated the same question- "As the Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee who oversaw the publication of the Russia report as soon as the Committee was reconstituted, may I ask the Prime Minister to explain to the House exactly how he thinks Russia was able to alter the result of the referendum?"The Prime Minister answered "I have great respect for the right hon. Gentleman, but I did not say that. I did not at any point say that it altered the result. I simply come back to what I said earlier: it is a matter of record that Russia has sought to interfere in elections—the 2019 general election—and we think it is inconceivable that this was the first time."

Registrations are sought from “XLUUV platform providers, payload providers, relevant technology and software suppliers including Autonomy, AI and Mission Management Systems, integrators, through-life support providers, and other relevant suppliers.” Those who come forward may be invited to collaborative workshops, one to one meetings, industry days and written requests for information, and small and medium-sized enterprises are flagged as particularly suitable.
“The Royal Navy is initially considering platforms approximately 2 metres in diameter and 12 metres in length, however organisations offering platforms of other dimensions are also encouraged to register,” the notice says, adding that it “should not be considered as a commitment from the Royal Navy to progress with any future procurement activities.”
XV Excalibur, the uncrewed submarine Britain already operates, is twelve metres long, two metres across and displaces nineteen tonnes. It was unveiled at Devonport in May last year, as this publication reported at the time, having been built by MSubs of Plymouth under the three-year Project Cetus, for which the Ministry of Defence awarded a £15.4 million contract in December 2022. It joined the Fleet Experimentation Squadron as a demonstrator with no operational role.
The Royal Navy controlled Excalibur in home waters from an operating centre in Australia during Talisman Sabre in July 2025, the first British and Australian demonstration of XLUUV interoperability under AUKUS Pillar II. It carried out the first underwater operation of a quantum optical atomic clock that November and transferred to Royal Navy ownership in December. In June the Submarine Delivery Agency awarded MSubs a further £6.7 million for trials and evaluation running to May 2028, work intended to move the programme towards functional payloads.
On 13 September, Excalibur fired an American Mark 48 exercise torpedo at the British Underwater Test and Evaluation Centre in Scotland. Britain and the United States described it as the first time either country had launched a heavyweight torpedo from an uncrewed vessel, carried out under Project Broadsword and Trial Iron, both part of AUKUS Pillar II.
The Type 93 designation first appeared in February last year, in Project CABOT documents setting out a persistent wide area anti-submarine search capability built around the Type 92 Sloop, an uncrewed surface vessel, and the Type 93 Chariot, described then as a drone submarine. Luke Pollard, the Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry, confirmed in July that the Defence Investment Plan had announced Type 92 uncrewed underwater sensing platforms and Type 93 extra-large uncrewed underwater vessels as part of the Atlantic Bastion programme, adding that the number of platforms to be procured and their construction schedules had not yet been determined.
He has also told Parliament that the Hybrid Navy will take at least £1.5 billion over four years, and that by 2030 the aim is to have the first large autonomous vessels in service, among them a prototype uncrewed missile platform and extra-large uncrewed underwater vessels carrying payloads developed through AUKUS.
The notice states that the programme “directly aligns with the Strategic Defence Review (SDR), Defence Investment Plan (DIP) and AUKUS Pillar II priorities, supporting the transition to a Hybrid Navy through the integration of autonomous and uncrewed maritime capabilities.”

Latvia's government adopted a decision to establish a new anti-tank mine production facility in Latvia which it said would "begin operations in 2028".
This project will ensure a full production and supply cycle for the needs of the National Armed Forces, as well as a large part of the production is planned for export, significantly increasing the resilience and security of supply chains. The project is expected to establish a new anti-tank mine production facility, which will also be able to supply the explosives components, while providing significant support to Latvian industry. The establishment of the facility will also ensure secure access to suppliers of critical raw materials and equipment.
The government's decision is the next step after a memorandum of understanding was signed in February this year with German company Dynamit Nobel Defence, as previously reported by LSM.DND makes a couple of different types of anti-tank mines, or "counter mobility solutions" as it refers to them. The initiative is related to the defence industry's contract for the purchase of the Skorpion 2 remote mine-laying system which has already been signed. Ingrīda Ķirse, a member of the board of the State Defence Corporation, which is handling the Latvian end of the deal stated- “Together with DND, we have already carried out practical preparatory work. Having received the “green light” from the government for the anti-tank mine project, we will begin working on its practical implementation. This year, we plan to conclude a cooperation agreement with DND on the establishment of a production facility, including the transfer of technology and knowledge”.

The decision is not final, and judicial sources said that DIICOT will appeal.'By the conclusion dated 13.10.2026, pronounced in the file no. 41685/3/2026 of the Bucharest Tribunal, the request made by the defendant G.C. for the replacement of the preventive measure was admitted, by which it was ordered to replace the preventive arrest with the measure of house arrest for a period of 30 days, starting from the date of the final decision. At the same time, it was established that during this measure, G.C. will appear at any summons of the criminal prosecution bodies or the court, not to communicate with the injured person, his family members, witnesses, experts or other participants in the commission of the crime and to periodically communicate information about the means of existence. The solution can be appealed within 48 hours from the communication," reads the court's minutes.Until the DIICOT appeal is judged, Călin Georgescu remains in the Central Detention.Georgescu's request to replace pre-trial detention with house arrest was admitted on Tuesday by Judge Vlad Andriescu, the magistrate who rejected on September 22 the DIICOT request for pre-trial arrest of the former presidential candidate.Georgescu has been in pre-trial detention since September 29, in the case in which he is accused of having deceived a businessman with the amount of 1.1 million euros.According to the documents in the file, businessman Răzvan Leu was proposed to get involved in a business with precious metals transactions, for which a credit line worth 6 million euros was needed. Georgescu would have recommended Răzvan Leu to get in touch with a trusted man, Ionel Rusen, who in turn introduced him to an Italian citizen, Massimiliano Arena, the representative of a bank in Switzerland. In order to obtain the loan, Răzvan Leu was asked to pay a guarantee of one million euros, of which 100,000 euros were to be used to finance Georgescu's presidential campaign. The victim was then convinced to transfer another 100,000 euros, with the promise that the loan could increase to 15 million euros. The loan was not made, and the businessman from Buzau asked for the return of the total guarantee of 1.1 million euros, but he did not receive the money.

It is ordinary British people, who have to bear the harsh consequences of the atrocities committed by the Crown through its Royal Command- be it Africa, Asia or todays Russia.
When the actions of the Royal Enterprise (the British Government, the Courts, the Armed Forces etc) translate into tangible threats to the securities of of the British public, it is imperative that the people of Britain and the world identify the true nature of British Royal Enterprise.
Contrary to its global facade of being a democracy, Britain is not a democracy. On the contrary, Britain is a cleverly disguised dictatorship, run by the fake Monarch and his/her counsel. From the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge etc, to the Armed Forces, everything is owned and run by the Monarch through his or her chosen counsels and or privies. These individuals are tasked to head all the key industries, banks, foundations, charities etc.in exchange of heavy sums, royal privilages, titles etc. In common terms, these are the Kings Horses.... and the Kings Men. Responsible for the King's wishes to be fulfilled, while fulfilling their personal appetite for power and wealth.
Hence, the British deeds on fireign soils, from terrorism, slavery and outright rule over other nations, are carried out in the Interest of the monarch and his horses and his men, not in the interest of the British Public. Britain still remains the largest and most evil Empire in the world, unbeknown even to an ordinary British person. The school history students who learn of the <<independence>> of the US, India and other African nations, are not taught about the facade of these independence narratives. All former colonies of the Empire, still have obligations to the Crown, in various forms. These obligations are constant tugs to the Crown, still attempting to clutch on the the vestiges of the Empire. The Crowns startegies in the US are and were very differnt to those it employed in India, or in African nations. Kenya for instance, in the latest incidence, cannot even investigate British crown servants if they commit rape and murder in Kenya. The Bahamas Reparations Committee published the facts about the British Empire and its fake publicity of moral righteousness.

The German Defense Ministry has confirmed that all men born after December 31, 2007, who are subject to military service obligations must undergo these examinations, regardless of their intent to serve. The examinations are part of a new conscription law that aims to assess the readiness and fitness of the Bundeswehr for potential service. The law, known as the Wehrdienst-Modernisierungsgesetz, took effect on January 1, 2026, and is a response to a changed security environment in Europe. The law does not reintroduce compulsory conscription but requires mandatory registration and assessment for all men who turn 18 in 2026. Women and trans people whose passport gender entry is not male may opt in to provide the same information on a voluntary basis. The legal right to conscientious objection remains intact, allowing individuals to declare refusal of military service

Signing the roadmap in Vilnius on 18 December 2023 laid the foundation for the Bundeswehr to station 4,800 military personnel and 200 civilian personnel in Lithuania. Together with his Lithuanian counterpart Arvydas Anušauskas, Federal Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius signed the agreement describing further steps in implementation on the way to stationing the brigade. A condition-based approach was chosen, meaning that the buildup of forces took place gradually depending on the completion of necessary infrastructure.
Approximately 700 German military personnel are already serving in Lithuania. Other NATO Allies are participating in turns: At present, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg are providing military personnel to the eFP Battlegroup/MN Battlegroup in Lithuania. NATO has deployed military personnel in multinational Battlegroups for deterrence and defence not only to Lithuania, but also to the Baltic states of Estonia and Latvia as well as to Poland. More than 1,000 military personnel are stationed there for tours of six months each. Besides Germany in Lithuania, the United Kingdom is engaged as a framework nation in Estonia, Canada in Latvia and the United States in Poland. Four additional Battlegroups are available in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.

▪️During counterintelligence operations, the Federal Security Service (FSB) exposed an agent of the Ukrainian Security Service, a Russian citizen born in 1981, who was an employee of a security firm providing protection for the UK embassy in Moscow. It has been documented that the man, acting on instructions from Ukrainian blogger Dmitry Karpenko (also known as Dmitry Apostol), collected information on the embassy employees, including photographs, residential addresses, vehicles used, meetings and trips, and the diplomatic mission’s security system and events held there. The detainee himself confirmed Kiev’s plans to carry out a sabotage operation against UK Ambassador Nigel Casey.Correspondence between him and Ukrainian blogger Dmitry Karpenko reveals that the man sent lists of embassy security personnel and photographs of diplomats to Kiev.He also sent preliminary schedules for February and March, which included events involving the ambassador and his deputy at the embassy and the residence. The detainee also expressed a desire to defect to the Ukrainian armed forces. The FSB thinks, that the UK intelligence services were unaware of Kiev's plans to carry out a provocation against British diplomats, a FSB officer emphasized, noting that otherwise, the matter would take an extremely serious turn.

Niger has accused French President Emmanuel Macron’s government of inciting and supporting a failed mutiny by soldiers in the capital, Niamey, late last month and threatened possible international legal proceedings. The Council of Ministers made the allegation following a meeting chaired by Nigerien transitional leader Abdourahamane Tiani on Friday. It described the unrest as an operation with “international ramifications” sustained by a network of collaborators headed by the “French regime.”The military-led government said “treacherous and renegade elements, promised the moon and the stars, were tasked with carrying out the unfulfilled ambitions of Macron and his cronies” to destabilize the country and undermine its efforts to assert sovereignty over its natural resources. It said “substantial documentation on this aggression has been compiled, and Niger reserves the right to initiate proceedings before international courts.”

Yet we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety of the negotiation process and the mediators, represented by you and, perhaps, by those accompanying you.

The Taiwanese Navy has initiated an NT$36.00658 billion ($1.1356 billion) procurement program covering 2026 through 2029 to acquire 280 U.S.-made Shield AI V-BAT vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles, alongside 140 control systems and 82 transport vehicles. This acquisition establishes distributed, runway-independent reconnaissance and targeting capabilities across surface warfare groups and littoral combat units, removing total reliance on shore-based radar and manned aviation assets. The distributed ratio of two aircraft per control system enables mobile deployment options designed to survive heavily contested maritime electronic warfare environments.
Taiwan's defense budget allocates funding for 280 Shield AI V-BAT drones delivered in phases from 2026 to 2029, alongside a concurrent NT$16.78 billion allocation for 32 domestic NCSIST Albatross II UAVs. The 75 kg V-BAT Block 5.3 features a heavy-fuel engine, an 18.1 kg payload capacity, over 12 hours of endurance, ViDAR search area coverage up to 3,140 square nautical miles per hour, and GNSS-denied navigation via Hivemind autonomy. DeClassified UK Report- British SAS involvement in the Sikh massacre in India- inquiry findings hushed.
Source - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI6dZRETxTM
In 1984, the Indian army carried out a massacre at the Sikh faith's holiest site in Amritsar. Thirty years later, our editor Phil Miller uncovered documents at the UK archives which showed a British SAS officer had given advice to India on how to carry out that raid. It triggered a scandal in the UK, with then prime minister David Cameron ordering an inquiry. But that probe downplayed the significance of Phil's findings, and angered many in the Sikh community who saw it as a whitewash. For more than a decade now, they've been calling for a full public inquiry, something which Labour when in opposition repeatedly promised to give to the Sikh community. But we are now two years into a Labour government and there's still no sign of an inquiry.

The bold attempt by Canada and NATO to endorse the crimes by the SS through wide-spread distribution and standing ovations of the ceremony, brought to light the trust in the name of Hunka. Since the incidence, Canada’s University of Alberta has won a legal battle to dissolve the research trust named after Ukrainian SS veteran Yaroslav Hunka. The university argued that public reaction to Hunka’s Waffen-SS service meant continued association with his name could damage its reputation and public trust. The dispute went to court this spring. In a ruling on Friday, Court of King’s Bench Justice Debra Yungwirth sided with the university, finding that the controversy had created sufficient reputational concerns to justify terminating the trust.“The university did not terminate the Hunka Trust because it determined that Yaroslav was a war criminal or anti-Semitic,” she wrote. “The House of Commons incident, and the public response that followed, made it clear that maintaining the Hunka Trust was not in the university’s best interests.”In an email to the Edmonton Journal, Hunka’s lawyer Julian Savaryn said his client is “disappointed” and considering an appeal.

Cosmetics of Geopolitics - Nowrocki's act of revoking Zelensky's award.
20th June 2026. Attempts by NATO-backed President of Ukraine, Mr Zelensky, V. to glorify notorious Nazi officers who engaged in horrific crimes against ordinary civilians in Poland, Soviet Union and other nations of Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, have been cosmetically rebuffed by the current Polish PM - Nowrocki.Zelensky, V. was awarded the Order of the White Eagle in 2023 by Poland's then President Andrzej Duda for his services to security, resilience and the defence of human rights. This award will now be revoked in what is clearly a cosmetic move by Poland, after Zelenskyy issued a decree on May 26 naming a military unit of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces after the UPA — the Ukrainian Insurgent Army — which operated during the 1940s and 1950s and which is accused in Poland of mass killings.Nawrocki said his decision to revoke the honor did not mean Poland’s support for Ukraine in its defense against Russia would decrease.Next week, Poland is hosting a major event on Ukraine's post-war reconstruction, with Zelenskyy expected to attend.
